Red carpet photos are a regular feature in the pages of People, Entertainment Weekly, Vanity Fair, Vogue, and just about every glossy publication that covers celebrity news and critiques style and fashion. The very definition of the term “Red Carpet” is “privileged treatment of a distinguished visitor,” and for some in Hollywood, it’s a regular affair. 

However, the far greater segment of the Hollywood community is always on the other side of the velvet rope, looking in from the outside and secretly hoping to gain the insider access to rub elbows with the privileged few. Thus the inspiration for providing special guests with insider’s access to a Hollywood premiere party was born from the creator’s own experiences, as both a hired hand and an honored guest. Is it all it’s cracked up to be? Usually. Is it entirely what the average person not familiar with the Hollywood scene would expect? No. But it’s always a great party.
